Devon Traditional Thatchers - Terms and Conditions for Services
Introduction
These terms apply when you engage Devon Traditional Thatchers to carry out Roof Thatching, ridge dressing, repairs or re-thatch work. They set out the services we will provide, your responsibilities, and the limits of our liability.
Service scope
We provide on-site condition checks, a written quote listing materials and expected timescale, and the agreed repair or re-thatch work. Any changes to the scope must be agreed in writing before additional work starts.
Customer responsibilities
You must provide safe and timely access to the property for site assessment and works. You must inform us of any known restrictions, listed status or third-party consents affecting the roof before work begins.
Quotes and payment
Written quotes list materials, labour and an estimated timescale. Unless the quote states otherwise, quoted prices apply only to the listed scope and may change if the scope changes.
Liability and exclusions
We will perform services with reasonable care for the agreed scope. Our liability for any claim arising from services is limited to the amount paid for the specific service that gave rise to the claim. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, including loss of use or loss of income.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the law applicable to the service address. If a dispute arises, we aim to resolve it by discussion and written correspondence before formal proceedings.
